Obituary of Frances L. Heinsz
Frances Lattanzi Heinsz, 92, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Frederick W. Heinsz Jr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. She was born in Bridgeport on January 19, 1929, the eldest daughter of the late George and Harriet Philbrick Lattanzi. She lived her whole life in Connecticut, near family, and retired from the Eye Surgery Associates in Bridgeport.
Selfless, compassionate, and pure, Frances led her life by her good example; spending any amount of time in her presence inspired you to be a better person. To know Frances is to love her and those who speak of her emphasize her unconditional love and glowing spiritual sense. A true Christian, she welcomed all to her table. Friends were treated like family and family was the most treasured part of Frances’ experience.
In addition to her love for God and family, Frances had a deep passion for music. Some of her most cherished times were attending the symphony, the opera, or a Broadway musical. She always had a tune on her tongue and the playful tendency to break out into song, whether to serenade her grandchildren or to initiate a Christmas carol session at the holidays. She herself was a choral musician and valued member of the St. Theresa’s Church choir for over thirty years.
Frances’ Survivors include her loving daughter, Elaine Prusasky and husband Michael of Trumbull; daughter-in-law, Linda Heinsz of Preston; beloved grandchildren, Kelly O’Reilly, Matthew Heinsz, Sarah Wadsworth and husband Kent, and Lisa Prusasky; great-grandchildren, Ethan Heinsz and Kaylynn O’Reilly; a brother, Norman Lattanzi of Shelton, and a sister, Marie Pawluk of Virginia, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Frederick W. Heinsz III; brothers, George and William Lattanzi; and a sister, Valerie Lattanzi.
Friends may greet the family on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 10:00–11:00 am at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am in St. Theresa's Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
