Obituary of Florence Gabrielli

Florence Dalto Gabrielli, of Trumbull, age 91 beloved wife of the late Sebastian "Sam" Gabrielli passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport, on July 6, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Nick and Dimitra Toshi Dalto and she was a longtime resident of Trumbull.

She was proud to have ushered at The Majestic Theater in downtown Bridgeport. Before her retirement she worked at Macy's with over 20 years of dedicated service. Flo and Sam were married for 68 wonderful years. She truly loved her husband, cherished her two children and adored spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping and traveling, but her fondest memories were those that were spent with her family.

Survivors include a son, Gary Gabrielli of Stratford and a daughter, Debra Waldman of Trumbull, two cherished grandchildren, Lia and Matthew Gabrielli and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her twin sister, as well as two other sets of twin siblings.

A walk-through visitation will take place on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Masks are appreciated and social distancing observed. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
