Obituary of Vincent Louis Dagostino

Vincent Louis Dagostino, 93, of Newtown, CT, passed away on June 12, 2021 at his home in Newtown, CT. Vincent was born on May 3, 1928 in Morristown, NJ to James and Marion Dagostino. He went to Morristown High School and graduated in 1945 then joined the US Navy. After the US Navy he attended and graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1951 with a BS in Engineering. He worked for Teleregister in NYC and Stamford, CT where he met his wife. He also worked for Bunker Ramo and ADP during his long and distinguished career.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Sandra DiSette Dagostino formerly of Stamford, CT, son James and his wife Laura of Randolph NJ, daughter Susan Murphy and her husband David Murphy of Gloucester MA, daughter Wendy Fatum and her husband Jeffrey Fatum of Trumbull CT, cherished grandchildren James Fatum, Marlena Fatum, Ashley Murphy, Carolyn Dagostino and Lauren Dagostino. He is also survived by his brother Louis Dagostino and his wife Joan of Morristown NJ, sister-in-law Gloria Rosa of Redding, CT and 13 nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Nunzio Dagostino and his wife Rose Dagostino and niece Mari-Jo Dagostino.

A walk-through visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Masks are appreciated as guests enter the building, pay their respects and exit in order to allow others the same opportunity. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. directly in St. Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Rd., Newtown. Burial with full military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
