Obituary of Ralph F. Scalo Jr.

It is with profound sadness that the Scalo family announces the passing of Ralph F. Scalo, Jr., beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who passed away suddenly at his home in Redding on May 8, 2021. Born in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late Ralph Sr. and Eveline Pantaleon Scalo. Ralph received his Bachelor's Degree in music from William Patterson University, an MBA from the University of Bridgeport, and was a practicing Certified Public Accountant. A talented pianist, Ralph worked as a professional musician before becoming what he referred to as "a simple country accountant." He was a man of many interests and talents, and especially enjoyed jazz, baseball, and the outdoors. Ralph's greatest joy was being with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Venetia Ozzi Scalo, his daughter, Dina Scalo and her fiancé Paul Canada, his son, Ralph Scalo lll, and his sister, Paula Scalo Anastasi and her husband Mark of Bridgeport.
