Obituary of Magdalene Dupigny

Magdalene Dupigny, age 67 of Bridgeport Connecticut, passed away on Friday April 9, 2021 with her beloved family by her side. Born in Portsmouth, Dominica on March 11, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Dupigny and Christina Thomas Dupigny.

Magdalene, a member of Rhema Life Changing Ministries, was a woman of excellent faith and a seasoned prayer warrior. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as spending quality time with family, singing, outdoor adventures, cooking, baking and entertaining, especially during the holidays. Her grandchildren were her true pride and joy.

Survivors include her three loving sons, Bernard Alexander and his wife Marlene, Anthony Alexander and his wife Vonair and Richard Hill and his wife Shelly, daughter Jo-Anne Airall, longtime friend Errol Hill, two brothers, John and Ned Dupigny, two sisters, Mary Dupigny and Agnes Joseph and five cherished grandchildren, Shaelan, Marcus, Sheyenne, Kailey and Brendon as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are invited to meet directly at North Park Baptist Church, 5200 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT on Saturday, April 24, 2021 for a walk-through visitation between 8:30 AM and 9:45 AM. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building. Due to attendance restrictions at the church, a funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM by invitational only. Interment will follow at Lawn Cemetery South, 216 Huntington Street, Shelton. The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull has been entrusted with arrangements.
