Obituary of Daniel R. Palange

Daniel R. Palange. age 61, of Naugatuck, beloved husband of the late Candice A. Porco Palange, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Bridgeport on May 4, 1959, he was the son of the late Angelo and Martha Ginicola Palange. Dan was a facilities supervisor for the St. Vincent DePaul Missionary of Waterbury.  

A classic car enthusiast, he enjoyed restoring cars, motorcycles and loved fishing. His greatest enjoyment however was found in the time he spent surrounded by his family. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend; he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Jessica Howell and her husband Jason of Naugatuck, his cherished granddaughter Jalyssa Howell who was the light of his life and his pride and joy, as well as granddaughters Amber, Alyssa and Alaina Howell, sisters, Joann Tope and her partner Emin, Carmella Tope, Miriam Torres and Alvina Fantuilli, sister-in-law, Dawn Cataldo and her husband Robert of Milford and brother-in-law, Ernest Porco of Naugatuck, nieces and nephews, Jason Cataldo, Justin Cataldo and his wife Valerie, Joshua Cataldo, Jenna Ireland and her husband Peter and Taylor Porco, as well as several other nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. He was predeceased by a daughter, Janel Palange and a nephew, Jordan Porco and mother and father-in-law Elvira and Ernest Porco.

Due to the concerns at this time associated with social gatherings, all funeral services and interment will be held privately for the immediate family.
