Obituary of Pasquale M. Silano Jr.
Pasquale M. Silano, Jr. age 36, of Bridgeport, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at his home. Born in Bridgeport on February 6, 1985, he was the son of Pasquale M. Silano, Sr. and Francine (Paternoster) Silano of Bridgeport.
Pasquale will be remembered by family for his passion of cars, trucks, and history. He loved nature and would spend long hours submersed in the beauty of it. To his sisters, he will always be remembered affectionately as "our little brother". He was also a loving son and uncle who will be greatly missed. All those who knew Pasquale knew of his profound love for his mother as expressed in lines from a poem by Genie Graveline entitled "A Mother & Son". "There's a very special bond between a mother and her son, / A closeness which grows deeper through the years. / It's marked by tender moments, crazy antics, quiet talks, / And strengthened as they share their hopes and fears." (1-4) These lines best describe the very close relationship Pasquale had shared with his mother throughout the course of his life. They remained best friends until the day he passed.
In addition to his devoted parents, survivors include his six loving sisters, Angela Silano, Donna Silano and her husband, Michael Klein, Nina Silano, Tina Silano and her husband, Damian Smith, Mia Silano and Deana Silano. He also leaves 12 nieces and nephews as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Edith Paternoster and his paternal grandparents, Angelo and Helena Silano.
