Obituary of Vincent A. Deamico

Vincent A. Deamico, age 73, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. Born in Bridgeport on September 23, 1947, he was a son of the late Vincent and Josephine Pontillo Deamico. He was a retired employee with the Public Works Department for the City of Bridgeport. Affectionately known as Johnny Chin, he was the owner and operator of Scarves by Chin and was also a Justice of the Peace.

Vincent was a loving brother and uncle who cared deeply for his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his devoted sister, Lillian Phillip of Trumbull, loving nephew and nieces, Robert Phillip and his wife Karen, Terri Lynn Phillip and Lori Ismail and her husband Jay, great nieces Gina and Lea Ismail, as well as many dear friends. He was predeceased by brothers, Salvatore, Michael and Thomas (Dingy) Deamico and his brother-in-law Robert Phillip.

A walk-through visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. -10:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in St. Andrew's Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489, www.alz.org/ct
