Obituary of Keith D. Cyr

Keith D. Cyr, age 65, of Monroe, beloved husband of the late Alda Moutinho Cyr, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on May 3, 1955, he was a son of the late Arthur and Helen Stanziale Cyr.

Keith was a loving and dedicated father and grandfather. He cherished his time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. The unconditional love he gave and the memories they shared will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include three loving daughters, Genevieve Santos and her husband Donnie of Fairfield, Andrea Leandres and her husband Tommy of Monroe and Eva Imperato and her husband Matt of Milford, eight cherished grandchildren, Vitoria and Vivienna Santos, Alana, Kara, Addison and Dylan Leandres and Luca and Aiden Imperato, as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. directly in St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. A walk-through visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, from 3-6 PM at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Face masks and social distancing will be required as guests enter the building, pay their respects and then exit the building without lingering to allow others the same opportunity.
