To my cousins, I am so very sorry about the passing of Uncle Gene. He will always be remembered as my uncle who loved trains, taking photographs (and slide shows) and camping. My thoughts are with you all.

To the Smith Family,
I got to know Gene in all the years visiting you guys in NH. He was always welcoming and greeted us with a smile. I appreciated his love for trains and always looked forward to seeing his big train display. Lydia also loved the train display and Gene would turn it on when we where there so she could watch it go around. I also always enjoyed a glass of wine with Gene before dinner when we visited. Bill and Sue were always gracious hosts. Moreover, they took excellent care of Gene in his aging years with kindness and devotion. My sympathy to you all. Gene will always hold a special place in my heart.

Uncle Gene, it seems like not so long ago I used to eat dinner at your house when I lived next door to you. Dinner was served at the same time every night. Table was set perfectly and the meal was always well balanced; meat, potatoes, vegetables and a fancy dessert. You and Aunt Bonnie always took care of me, whether it was at your house or while camping, which your family loved to do. You were famous for your slide shows, train sets, and jigsaw puzzles. You were always prompt and liked things in order if that is fair to say. Bill, Sue,Dee,and Dylan took great care of you in your later years and I am glad I got to see you whenever Michele, Lydia and I visited in New Hampshire. Rest In Peace Uncle Gene .
