Obituary of Bernadette F. Borchert

Bernadette Forcina Borchert, age 86, beloved wife of William G. Borchert, Sr. of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn, NY on April 17, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Angelina (Saccocia) Forcina.

In addition to her beloved husband William of 65 years, survivors include her nine loving children, Judith Anne Makrakis (Thomas), Charlotte Hunt Nodine (James), William G. Borchert, Jr. (Tricia), Lawrence Jude Borchert (Rana), John Howard Borchert (Sharon), Robert Paul Borchert (Diane), Walter David Borchert (Denise), Daniel Thomas Borchert (Elizabeth) and Angela Marie Johnson and 25 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 11 sisters and 1 brother.

A walk-through visitation will take place on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 9:30–10:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611. Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects, and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through the building, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull.
