Obituary of John G. Plasko
John G. Plasko, age 87, beloved husband of Pauline Gross Plasko and lifelong resident of Trumbull, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, December 20, 2020. Born on May 16, 1933 in Trumbull, he was a son of the late Martin and Mary Plasko. John served his country with pride in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked as a machinist and later as general manager for many years at the Robert Fulton Co. of Newtown, but was well known as the owner and patriarch of Plasko's Farm in Trumbull. For several years, he served as an usher at St. Theresa Church, was a member of the VFW and participated in several other clubs and charitable organizations throughout the area. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Pauline of 61 years, John is survived by his son, John J. Plasko and his wife Lisa of Trumbull. He is predeceased by his siblings, Alex Plasko, Josephine Norko, Wilma Gaydos, Rose Peck, Mary Plasko, and Vera Voytek.
Due to the concerns about social gatherings affecting us all at this time, funeral and interment services with military honors will be held privately for the immediate family.
