Tilly was a truly beautiful person I always looked forward to going to the house to clean the boiler plow the driveway or just to visit if I was in the area we had stayed in touch after I moved away she was always encouraging and always said something to brighten up my day so glad I had the chance to know her and george
And yes she will be missed very much

When I first moved to Trumbull... the house right next door to Tillie and George... She welcomed me very graciously ..Tillie had a great outgoing personality... I would be over her house making "Lemon Squares" ... and I remember she was always optimistic and the best of women to be around. I found myself going over to her house all the time learning how to put up a clothes line and how to bake... I would see Tillie outside everyday... hanging their clothes on the line.. I would copy her and do the same. She also loved my 2 cats... they were brothers ... and they always hung out on her porch. So many wonderful memories. Tillie was a good Christian woman... we would go over scripture together... She was loved at church and the Pastor came by to her house to visit her when she finally gave up driving... Everyone loved Tillie. She was never idle ... always busy around the house or outside ... laughing and telling me stories ... I found myself hanging on her every word... wanting her energy & optimistic personality to rub off on me. I never saw her depressed or in self-pity... She had such a strong mind and took care of her home and husband in a energetic, loving, peaceful way. I remember when we were snowed in... she would say that "on these days, we need pastry in the house" ... I will miss her so much. I know she is in Heaven now with George... xx
