My Family and I moved from Texas to Norwalk Ct in '88. We lived on Half Mile Rd, and a member of St Jerome Church. Fr. Joe was a blessing to our family. I remember My son Joe was only 3 years old when we met Fr. Joe at Caldore/Walmart today. My Son's arm was broken and in cast, when Fr Joe saw us, he gave him a dollar to buy ice cream ! Later on , he came to our house to pray for my Mother who passed away. Then again , on my son's confirmation, he came to our house and gave him a camera to take pictures. He was a blessing to our family, part of our family. We loved him so, and appreciated him, he was God send. May God bless his precious soul, Rest In Peace , to serve & love God in Heaven. Many condolences to his precious family and all his brother priests, specially Fr. David Blanchard. We are lucky to have known him.

Dear Grace and family, Maryann and I were heartbroken at the news of dear Fr. Joe's homegoing. He was such a sweet, gentle and caring soul. We always enjoyed our time together with he and Grace during the few visits we have been able to make back to Trumbull. Not all families are blessed to have had such a godly example in their midst. I know he will be sorely missed, but we count it a privilege that God allowed him to be with you for these many years. Know that our prayers are with you. May you know the peace of Christ during this time of remembrance and loss. With our love, Tim and Maryann Yoder

A most wonderful individual, one of most dearest friends from grammer school to the present. We enjoyed life, boy scouts, bowling and family. a brother-in-law to my sister, a cousin of my wife, Jane Leone, and my very best man at my wedding toJane. Though we were miles apart we always maintained a closeness and love.
