Obituary of Hazel May Cennamo

Hazel May Doughty Cennamo, age 95, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Nicholas Cennamo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. Born in Danbury on September 25, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Cora Belmaine Doughty. She was a retired employee of General Electric.

Hazel was a loving, caring and generous aunt. She cared for her nephews and nieces as if they were her own. She enjoyed traveling and seeing new places and her trips to the casino. Hazel will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her nephews, John (Jack) Cennamo and his wife Martha of Trumbull, John Boiano Jr., of New York and Lucille Gaetano of Waterbury, as well as many dear friends.

Due to the concerns about social gatherings affecting us all at this time, there will be no calling hours and burial took place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
