I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing! I have many fond memories of him, always smiling, and remember the fun times we had clowning around at the Strawberry Festival serving tables. He will be missed. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

I remember the first time I met Bill and Ruth. They were both lovely. Bill's warmth, friendliness, and gentle sense of humor were evident from the start and never failed. He clearly adored Ruth and his family. I know many people are missing this sweet man, I am among them. Big hug to Ruth.

Ruth and Bill joined our church a couple of years ago and it was always such a great joy to see them on Sunday Morning. They would greet me with love and kindness; it filled my heart. Seeing him surmount illness and work his way back to church was inspiring! I looked forward to seeing them in church. Ruth, I will hold you close in my prayers.

Bill was a bright light for me in church. Always upbeat and friendly, he often greeted me with a smile and a conversation. When he got sick a few years ago, I enjoyed visiting him on a couple of occasions in the hospital. I learned about his career, his work with the fire department, and his love of spy novels. Because of the pandemic, our last encounter would have been back in February or early March. I'm disappointed not to have seen Bill since then, but I know that he is in the loving arms of God.
