Obituary of Marjorie June Corarito

Marjorie June Oburchay Corarito, age 100, of Bridgeport Connecticut, passed on to God peacefully under Hospice Care on Sunday, August 23, 2020 in Kihel, Maui, Hawaii where she spent the last eight years of her life. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Oburchay. She graduated from Warren Harding High School, class of 1937. After being a 37-year resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut she spent the next 55 years as a resident of Trumbull, Connecticut. She was married to her late husband Arthur Anthony Corarito for 68 years. She worked for Sacred Heart University and later enjoyed 35 years of retirement. She maintained acquaintances with her Beardsley Grammar School childhood girls club friends throughout their lives.

She was predeceased by her sister Charlotte Oburchay Drab and her husband Edwin of Naugatuck, brothers and sisters-in-law Joseph and Lillian Corarito of Stratford, Patsy and Alice Corarito of Trumbull, Michael and Jennie Spinelli of Bridgeport, Alberto and Mary Spinelli of Stratford, and Anthony and Helen Bocchino of Bridgeport.

She is survived by two sons; Arthur Douglas Corarito and his wife Mary Anne of Rowe, Massachusetts and Paul Charles Corarito and his wife Leona of Wailea, Hawaii, two grandchildren, Douglas and his wife Deanna Corarito of Odessa, Florida and Lori Quell and her husband Jeffrey of Stratford, Connecticut, great grandchildren; Chelsea, Lauren and Reese Corarito and Colby, Quincy and Jacob Cayton and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may gather from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull with a Funeral Home Service being held at 12 noon. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave., Stratford.
