I've known Bob since 1980. He was a special guy. He'd do anything for you and his prayers were uplifting. He will always be missed by myself and his dearest friends. Especially Capt.10 Speed. Yes Bob will be missed by those of us who knew and loved him on a daily basis. He was a true friend.

Bob was a kind gentle soul, prayer partner and friend. He was amazing to fellowship with and awesome with all of the kids at our lively St. Thomas rosary group. May he rest in peace.

We met Bob for the first time at the family prayer group gathering many years ago. Bob was an avid reader and a very spiritual person. He lived and practiced his faith. He was devoted to Our Blessed Mother. He believed that, “with God all things are possible.” He was one of the smartest people I knew. He was an avid reader and knew a lot about everything. Whenever I was perplexed about something I would ask Bob and he would have an answer. He was not grandstanding or pushy. He just knew a lot. He was interesting and interested. Don and he went to St. Margaret Shrine every weekend. They would get a bite to eat on the way to mass and get a bite to eat on the return. Then Bob would critique Don’s homilies. When the family went on vacation Bob would call us everyday to check on how we were doing. He prayed for us continuously and he prayed for all the prayer group families. He was a very special person and he will be missed by all.

Bob was an avid reader, a history buff, a good listener, and a dear friend. His advice was genuine, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Bob treasured Mother Mary, his brother, Ed's love and support, as well as the friendship of others. "I will truly miss our prayer times together, my friend."
