Obituary of Julia Emma Barry

Julia Emma Luczay Barry, age 80, of Easton, died on Thursday, June 11, 2009 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on June 14, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Julia Luczay. A Physical Therapist, Mrs. Barry was formerly employed by St. Joseph Hospital, Stamford, Norwalk Rehabilitation Center and most recently Associates Sports Medicine of Stamford. She was also a volunteer at the A. B. Skane School in Bridgeport. Julia was a very simple person who took great pride and joy in her family, and in helping others. She was willing to help no matter the time or place and always put the needs of others before her own. Survivors include three loving children, Deborah Candee and her husband James of Monroe, Leslie Schwartz and her husband Richard, Jr., and Frank R. Barry, Jr. all of Easton, their father Frank R. Barry, Sr. of Shelton, five cherished grandchildren, Tara, Ian, Ricky, Danielle and Melissa, dear friends, Dawn Valenti, Shirley Manzo and Eva Marie DeOliveira as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in the Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
