Obituary of Mona Jean

Mona Etienne Jean, age 76, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Micius Jean, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Jacmel (Haiti) on January 21, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Pluriel and Carmen Etienne.

Survivors include six children, Monette Duplan and her husband Edwige of Bridgeport, Marie-Marlene Jean of Florida, Marie Carmelle Jean of Bridgeport, Roosevelt Jean and his wife Lissette of Bridgeport, Leslie Jean and his wife Dina of Montreal, Berthoumieux Junior Jean and his wife Ifania of Port-au-Prince, 13 grandchildren, Shardey, Nayanka, Mitsi, Sebastian, Leedwin, Andrew and Jasmin, Kervin, Chris, Ertha-Orely, Laetitia, Theo, Aidan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. directly in Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 1255 East Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06608. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family on Friday, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611.
