We first got to know Ralph when he did some beautiful work on the addition to our 1772 home in Easton. We were chatting while he was enjoying an apple during his lunch break. I was complimenting him on the way he was so perfectly matching and blending with the work from over 200 years earlier. And it was a perfect match! His reply, "I can do a better job than that!" and he then proceeded in a very nice way to point out how he could do it better but wasn't because of our request to match the existing work. As Ralph and I saw each other through the years "I can do a better job than that" became our personal joke. I have very fond memories of Ralph and extend my condolences to his family.

To the Lombardi family, We are so saddened to hear of Ralph's passing. A photo of Ralph and my dad cooking together is still displayed on Mom's refrigerator after all these years. I am sure they will be cooking up a storm up there. Ralph with his bread and Dad with his Jelly rolled cookies. Let the memories you have shared comfort you now and always.
