Obituary of Nancy Karen Foley

Nancy Karen (Plitnick) Foley, longtime resident of Trumbull, beloved wife of Daniel Foley, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2019 with her family by her side at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Born in Hazelton, PA on May 24, 1957, she was a daughter of Joseph Plitnick of Tallahassee, FL and the late Theresa Pavlinsky Plitnick. Nancy currently worked as an accountant with Horberg Industries. In her spare time, she loved cooking for her family and friends. A music enthusiast, she enjoyed going to concerts, especially those of her favorite artist, Rod Stewart. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, friend, and a lover of all animals who will be truly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her husband Daniel of 33 years, Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Katie Mancini and her husband Daniel of Milford and Samantha Foley and her fiancé Calin Sapatoru of Hamden, her brothers Joseph Plitnick and his wife Deborah of FL and Glenn Plitnick and his wife Kim of Trumbull, her sister Eileen Plitnick Mason and her husband Michael of GA, sister in laws, Cathy Demarst and her husband Bill, Margaret Behn, and Patty Foley Sladeck and her husband Dan, all of NY, brother in law James Foley and his wife Carolann of NY, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, December 27 from 4-7 pm in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
