Obituary of William C. Johnson

Loving Son, Brother & Uncle William C. Johnson, Jr., 35, left to meet his Heavenly Father, after a brief illness in the early morning hours on Monday, February 24, 2014. He was the loving son of Marcia Gail Buster and the late William C. Johnson, Sr. In 1988, Will, "Chip" as he was affectionately known, was baptized at Messiah Baptist Church in Bridgeport, CT. He recently rededicated his spiritual life by joining Cascade United Methodist Church in Atlanta, GA. Will's charismatic personality made him a friend to all, a stranger to none, as he thrived on stimulating interactions and was always openly willing to lend a hand. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Marcia Gail Buster; a brother, Thomas Allen Sandifer, III; 3 sisters, Belinda Levychin (Richard), Cormilla Hendrieth, and Clorissti Mitchel (Carlos); paternal grandmother, Lola Wells; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Funeral Information On Monday March 3, 2014 a public viewing will be from 1 - 9 PM at Murray Brothers Funeral Home, 1199 Utoy Springs Rd. SW, Atlanta, GA (404) 349-3000 www.mbfh.com. His Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cascade United Methodist Church, 3144 Cascade Rd. SW, Atlanta. Rev. Dr. Marvin A. Moss, Pastor. Instate 10 AM. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:30 AM on the day of service. Final Celebration of Life Services will take place on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11:00 am directly in Messiah Baptist Church, 210 Congress St, Bridgeport, CT, with the Pastor Rev. James B. Logan. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday in Messiah Baptist Church at 10:00 am until the time of service. Interment will be private.
