Obituary of Claudette T. Palazzo

Claudette T. (Blouin) Palazzo, age 96, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, January 26, 2019. She had constant daily vigil by her family and her dedicated caregivers at Orange Health Care Center, Orange. Claudette was the beloved wife of the late Ralph R. Palazzo. She was born in Berlin, NH on September 16, 1922 and was a daughter of the late Philias and Laura Boivin Blouin. Claudette had been employed by Empire Manufacturing where she worked as a bookkeeper before her retirement after many years of dedicated service. Claudette enjoyed ballroom dancing with her friends, knitting hundreds of pairs of slippers, family vacations in the Poconos and she especially loved being with all her family. She is survived by her three loving children, Joyce Kandrack and husband Mike of Stratford, Richard Palazzo and wife Veronica of Milford and Denise Manoni-Smith and husband George of Milford, her six cherished grandchildren, Lisa Crowley and husband David, Donald Bardinelli and wife Debbie, Jay Palazzo and wife Kelly, Shannon Perry and husband Christopher, Michael Manoni and wife Janelle and Matthew Manoni, her ten adored great grandchildren, Tyler, Liam, Joshua, Jacob, Riley, Brendan, Emma, Aidan, Jude and Gerard, her brother, Robert Blouin and wife Lucille of Stratford, her sisters, Yvonne Beaudin of Canada, Lilliane Beaulieu of South Carolina and Jeannine Blouin of Canada, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Ralph, she was also predeceased by her great grandson Brayden and her sister, Gilberte Gervais. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Interment will follow in the State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Church, Stratford, CT.
