Obituary of Louis R. Jelormine

Former Trumbull resident Jelormine - Louis R. Jelormine, 69 of Sarasota, FL formerly of Trumbull, CT died Friday, June 18, 2010 in his home with his family by his side. Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Melinda and his faithful companion, his Golden Lab, PJ. He was the son of Rosalie Massaria Jelormine and the late Louis P. Jelormino. He is also survived by his four children, Colleen Austin of Sarasota, FL, Phillip Jelormine of Sebring, FL, Amy Bursey of Stratford, CT, and Cynthia Buckwalter of Sebring, FL, two sons-in-law, Raymond Bursey and Nathan Austin, his brother Michael Jelormine of Fairfield, CT and his sister, Alberta Kurtz of Raleigh, NC. Seven grandchildren: Kyle, Brynne and Jana Buckwalter, Brianna and Emily Bursey, and Eathan and Zaccary Austin. Two nieces: Kristen Jelormine, Erica Baker, her husband, Michael Baker and great nephew, Michael. Lou was held in high esteem in the moving industry where he started as a tractor trailer driver and advanced to Director of Fleet Development for West End Moving and Storage an Allied Van Lines agency in Bridgeport, CT before early retirement to Sarasota, FL with his wife in 2001. He was also able to briefly enjoy his passion for boating while living in the Sarasota area. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
