Obituary of Louise D. Kubik

Louise Diorio Kubik, age 90, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Peter J. Kubik Sr., passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at CT Hospice in Branford. Born on December 9, 1928 in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Josephine Misurale Diorio. Louise loved to cook and she also enjoyed playing bingo but her greatest enjoyment was found in the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, whom she adored so much. She will best be remembered as a very caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who always put the needs of her family first. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving sons, Peter J. Kubik Jr., and his wife Darlene Maceyunas Kubik of Seymour and Alan S. Kubik of Stratford, two cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Kubik and Tiffany Rydz and her husband Bradley, a sister Antoniette Lucas of Shelton, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Peter, she was also predeceased by her sisters, Eleanor Panicali and Jeanne Prokop.

Funeral services will take place on Friday January 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial.
