Obituary of Frances Lemieux

Frances Perille Lemieux, age 94, of Newtown and formerly Shelton, beloved wife of the late Lawrence O. Lemieux, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 27, 1923 in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Frances Rich Perille. Affectionately known to many as Gi Gi, she found great enjoyment cooking for her family. Her greatest pleasure however was found in the time she spent with her family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include two loving children, Lawrence P. Lemieux and his wife Lori of Monroe and Elaine Ulatowski and her husband John of Newtown, six grandchildren, Heather Norko and her husband John, Jonathan Ulatowski, Cara Lemieux, Adriane Garvin and her husband T.J., Mallory Lemieux and her wife Lara Neich and Jaclyn Lemieux, eight great grandchildren, Francesca, Gabrielle, Tre, Reagan, Quinn, Ellie, Nolan and L.J., as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Lenny, Mickey and Sam Perille and four sisters, Phyllis Pellegrino, Florence Bennett, Sadie Cannone and Eleanor Lucy.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Family Center, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
