Dear Joann, Alice and I are soo sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I was stunned by the information as I still remember him being quite active the last time I saw him which I think was only about a year ago. I am sorry we cannot attend the visitation or mass as we are in Texas visiting daughter and grandkids. We will however make a donation to Vietnam Veteran's fund as Jim would have wanted. I am saddened to hear of Jimmy’s passing. As a rookie on the Bridgeport Fire Department in 1982, Jimmy was one of the guys who extended a welcoming hand and friendly conversation when it was very much needed. His friendship remained throughout both of our careers. My sincere condolences go out to the family.

On behalf on Jimmy's many friends at the Germania Schwaben Club we extend our heartfelt condolences to JoAnne, Julie, Colleen, and Kathleen, as well as Jimmy's son-in-law, Kenneth; and, his sister, Patricia.
