Jim, Peter & Scott,
When you boys were still in elementary & high school and I was a teacher (not a pipe-fitter)
your dad was kind enough to employ me for a few summers. Earlier this week Scott called me and reminded me of something I told him when he was only 14 and worked with us at his dad's shop.
I told Scott that, as I was witnessing about Christ to one of your dad's key pipe fitters, the man interrupted me and said - "when I want to know more about God I will ask Roger."
That statement tells us all we need to know about your father. He put God, family & country first. His Christian honesty and values shaped his sprinkler business in big ways and small as he closed deals with a hand shake and made sure that we all got paid on pay day no matter where we were working.
Your dad is in heaven, but my prayers remain for you and your mom.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to Jim and the Brake family on the passing of Roger. Besides being an excellent sprinkler man, he was a very nice man and a true gentleman. Over the years we would have long conversations in his driveway about all types of subjects, mostly business but try as we may , we never solved the problems of the sprinkler industry or the world. Roger will be missed by his family but also by those of us who enjoyed his company. He is in a better place and I will keep him and the Brake family in my prayers. Sincerely,
Paul Sposato
