Nancy was always so sweet to my family and especially our little children Logan and Anabella. She was a spitfire with a big heart who cared deeply about her family and friends. Everyone was blessed to have her around so long being so generous of spirit to those who needed it most even when it affected her negatively. She will be missed by me deeply. I remember that she always prayed for our family and for me when I went on a job interview or just that Vic and the kids were doing okay. I pray to have my wits about me the way she did until the very end and that I remain caring all the way through. I wish I could say goodbye but I guess that’s what I’m doing now. Few of us here on earth will ever compare to the very special person Nancy was. Her faith, love and devotion got her through all the tough times she endured in her very long life. But, her strength and determination kept her positive, despite it all. She truly loved life and kept a cheerful attitude and smile. She was a model for anyone aging. She never gave up and never wanted to burden anyone or let anyone down, especially her children. I will miss her terribly but I know those in heaven have brighter star with them now. She was a truly inspirational gift to me and my family who all loved her dearly. Faye Rivera

Nancy! .. what a special lady... a wonderfully unique woman. She always had a smile on her face and gave me a kiss every time I saw her. Mrs. Pinto was always praying for everyone she could and that was a very comforting reminder that there are still people who actively selflessly care about others as much as she did. It was always an uplifting experience speaking with her. Any other human being could only hope to age and keep as an illuminated spirit as well as Nancy Pinto. I'm very grateful to have known her. What a beautifully written tribute to Nance. She was one of a kind and I will never forget the day we met over 20 years ago. She “adopted” me, as she used to tell anyone and everyone we would encounter together, and I will cherish the bond we shared for the rest of my life. She was a real blessing to me and I loved her and will miss her dearly. She adored each one of you and I know she’ll be watching over you all, along with her Bob, whom I can only imagine she hasn’t stopped squeezing since they were reunited.
