MARTHA AND I JUST GOT BACK FROM A TRIP TO SAN DIEGO YESTERDAY AND WE WERE READING THROUGH THE NEWSPAPERS THAT WE MISSED WHEN WE WERE GONE AND WE BOTH WERE SAD TO READ THAT YOUR MOTHER HAD PASSED.SHE WAS A GREAT LADY AND WE REALLY ENJOYED THE NOTES THAT SHE ENCLOSED IN HER CHRISTMAS CARDS.

To Shirley's family, I send my deepest condolences and love. Shirley was one of my favorite ladies, and I told her often. We had such fun playing Pinochle every Friday, and having her in the "gallery" watching us play Bocce at Aspetuck. We enjoyed talking about how she was the same age as my Mom, Yvonne, who passed last year. Heaven has a special angel, and I'll miss her spirit and wonderful sense of humor! God bless Shirley.
