Dear Sharon and Gail, I want you to know that I have been thinking about you since I read the news of your mother's passing. I have many memories of your mom and Hash sitting in my parents kitchen laughing, and many memories of your lovely house on Center Cemetery Road. Your mom was always on the go, cooking, gardening or cleaning! Sometimes all those things at once! She had the energy of a tornado! Or so it seemed to me compared to my mother. Her taste was impeccable on a shoe string budget, inside and outside her home.
We are now the older generation. I remember my dad saying to me "I am now the old generation" when his father died and I was ten years old. I didn't know what it meant when he said it then but I sure do now. Time goes by so quickly, it seems as if it were just yesterday when we all went riding together all over town on horseback. I sincerely wish you peace and good memories in this time of sorrow. Sue
