Dear Diane and Children:
I am so sorry to hear the news. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Diane - not sure if you remember me, but I worked with Dennis at Appleton Papers for all the time he was there and played softball and had a lot of fun with the gang. I often have thought of Dennis and Rick Burdick and wondered how they were doing. Mike Randall would say he kept in touch, but then I have not heard from Mike in some time also.
I was luck to be able to say I was a friend of Dennis's. He would do anything he could if you needed help. I would read the sports page in the newspaper at 10:00 every morning at work in Dennis's office. He was a great friend.
You and your family will be in my prayers.
