Miriam and Frank Fawcett were my Godparents. I believe. Although my parents lost touch after they divorced I did come across a few cards from Miriam to Louise when she lived at Mark Twain congregate living center. They were a loving couple who were true role models of what a lasting, happy and healthy marriage should be. I remember a story about Frank that has stayed with me forever. Frank turned down a promotion because it would mean he would have to work Saturdays. Being with his family and being a dad meant more to him them personal success and achievement. My thoughts are with you during this time. Mrs. Fawcett (as she was known to me) was my third grade teacher at Springdale School. I fondly remember her reading "Charlotte's Web" to the class, and teaching us how to make cranberry relish at Thanksgiving time. Sheila

Dear Janet and family, I am remembering Miriam and Frank today with great fondness. They were loyal and active church members, committed to their community, faith and family. They were reliable in their respective jobs. They were courageous in the face of loss. They inspired many people.
