I will always remember Christan as a brilliant, wise, loving, kind, lover of life. She has left an indelible mark of love on many, many hearts in Women's Studies. I cherish the times we spent on campus in deep conversation together, and I thank her for all that she has given to me and those whose lives she touched.
I will always be grateful for her sweet, sincere embrace-- our last one-- that took place at the Alum Summit on April 21st. Her death is a great loss to me, to all.
My heart goes out to her beautiful family...
