Obituary of Angelina Ciufo

Angelina Larocca Ciufo, age 89, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Lorenzo Victor Ciufo, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Tufo, Italy on June 10, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Filippo and Rosa Rasile Larocca and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport. She had been employed by Howie Manufacturing with over 40 years of dedicated service before her retirement. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her loving son, Mario Ciufo and his wife Patricia, along with their children, Christina and Larry Ciufo, all of Shelton, a brother, Michael Larocca and his wife Mary of Easton, her nieces and nephews, Mark Improta of Bridgeport, Bridget Suchezky and her husband Gil of Milford, Roseann Piacentini and her husband Sam of Maryland, Phil Larocca and his wife Barbara of Milford and John Larocca and his wife Lorraine of Trumbull, as well as many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Lorenzo, she was also predeceased by a sister, Mary Improta. Funeral services will take place on FRIDAY, February 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Ave., Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
