Obituary of Loreto Mallone

Loreto (Larry) Mallone, age 66, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Fiorella Maurati Mallone, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. The owner and operator of M & F Auto Body, Bridgeport, Larry was born in Torrice, Province of Frosinone, Italy, a son of the late Antonio and Teresa Arduini Mallone. He established M & F in 1978, where he would make many long lasting friendships. He was well liked within the community, well known for his infectious personality and always went above and beyond to help others. He had a quick wit and could always put a smile on your face. He lived life with tremendous passion; he enjoyed his auto business, real estates and gardening. But above all of these things his true love was his family. He treasured the time spent with them, especially his grandchildren. The love and values he taught them will continue to live on in their hearts forever. Larry will truly be missed by all. In addition to his beloved wife of 45 years, Fiorella, survivors include his three loving children, Michael Mallone and his wife Melissa, Larry Mallone Jr. and his wife Natalie and Loretana Mallone, all of Trumbull, two cherished granddaughters, Mia and Michela, a brother, Anatolio Mallone of Rome, Italy, his godson Leonard Mosco Jr., as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Gina Vitale and a brother Pio Mallone. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
