To John and all the rest of the family: I just found this notice after looking for John and the Fountain of Youth. We have not been there since 2004. John introduced us to Joel Terrace, who recently passed away one day before his 80th birthday on June 6th, 2020. He passed at his home in Georgia. John loved saying Ba-da-bing in his store. I felt bad to see your Mother passed away about two weeks after you closed your business. Cindy and I extend a belated well wish to you John and Kay and the entire family. I wish you all the comfort.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Mrs. Moretti. I did not know her, but I have been well acquainted with her loving son Mike for almost four decades. I know Mike from his patronage of my Mother Dolores's and my beloved Nature's Way Health Foods in Stratford. Mike would com in during my evening on-the-retail-floor shifts and we would talk about body-building nutrition as Mike was a most active enthusiast and a training competitor in this arena. I really enjoyed conversing with Mike as he has such an engaging personality.
I continue now to regularly see Mike in the Bridgeport Superior Court courthouse and he still has that engaging personality. But what has been so touching for me during these current-time encounters has been my hearing about and witnessing Mike's devoted caring and great attentiveness to his Mother's well-being and care. I have chatted with him about his Mother. I have been present in the courthouse during his phone calls to and from his Mother/Mother's care-givers. I have taken solace in bittersweet envious vicarious experience of the Love in the Mother and Child relationship during these interloping moments in which I have been present.
So I offer my condolences for your loss to Mike and all Moretti family but I celebrate with you Mrs Moretti's presence on this earth which may be so celebrated as the ever alive and eternal Love that defines that presence. Jeryl Gray

To Darlene, Michael & John,
We've lived across from your Mom and Dad since the late 90's. Armondo was the first to welcome us to the neighborhood and Mom friendly as well, possibly seeing another Italian Mom visiting her son across the street. We are sorry for your loss of a loved one.

Darlene, Phil, Jesse, Michael and families; we were so sad to hear about your Mom and Grandma. Your mom meant the would to me...so happy and so funny. I will always remember our so serious talks about her own ideas about vegetarian chicken soup! I will always remember watching the fireworks at her house...the night we almost died! Most of all I will always remember the special connection she had with Shayne...and that knowing her connection gave me such peace. I love you Mrs Moretti and I will miss you. Please take care of Darlene, Phil, Jesse's family, and my boy Shayne (now you know why we couldn't tell you about him!) love, Ginger Rob and crew
