Obituary of Maureen Kelly Herrmann

Maureen Kelly Herrmann, age 50, of Trumbull, beloved and devoted wife of Tim Herrmann passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Rockville Centre Long Island on June 11, 1962, she was a daughter of Henry F. and Nell P. Kelly of Trumbull. She was a para-professional for special needs children in the Town of Trumbull for twelve years. She loved the children she helped and truly made a difference in each of their lives. She enjoyed perennial flower gardening and spending quality time with her family and friends. Maureen never gave up her fight against cancer and cancer did not win. It couldnt take her integrity, strength, perseverance, compassion, creativity, sense of humor or her love for God. These will live on forever in the hearts of all those who embraced her. Because she saw her death in this life as the celebration of her new eternal life, she requested that bright colors be worn to her services. In addition to her husband Tim, survivors include two daughters, Megan and Colleen Herrmann of Trumbull, her sisters, Nancy Goyette and her husband Ken of Waterbury, Kathleen Dunne and her husband Stephen of West Hempstead, NY, and through marriage her father Edward C. Herrmann of Hillsborough New Jersey as well as brother Steven Herrmann and his wife Diane of Brooklyn, NY and Debbie Murphy and her husband Mike of Hillsborough, NJ along with several nieces and a nephew. Funeral Information Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 4-8p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will take place on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m in the Covenant Church of Easton, 1 Sport Hill Road, Easton, CT.
