Obituary of Norma J. Oligino

Norma J. Oligino, age 89, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Oligino, passed away on June 10, 2016 at Carolton Chronic Rehabilitation in Fairfield. Born in Bridgeport on February 7, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Ida Ferrante Tagliaferi. Before her retirement Norma was the owner and operator of Norma's Jewelers for 40 years. She was the first female and youngest to graduate from NYU with a degree in Horology & Gemology. Norma was a contributor and fundraiser to many charities but always had a special place in her heart for animals. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
