Obituary of Audrey S. Williams

Audrey S. Allen Williams, age 95, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Raymond Williams, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born on December 29, 1920 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Sophia Hasley Allen and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School Class of 1939. Before her retirement she worked for Co-operative Educational Services for many years. An avid golfer, she was a member of the Women's 9 Hole Club at Tashua Knolls Golf Club and also loved bowling and playing bridge. Audrey was a good cook; she lived life to the fullest, was always full of joy and enjoyed every day. But most importantly she treasured the time with her husband, children and grandchildren; she loved when the family was all together sharing laughs and making long lasting memories. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her loving husband Raymond of 66 years, survivors include her four loving children, Robert P. Williams and his wife Nancy of Branford, Thomas A. Williams and his wife Darlene of Fairfield, Virginia DeFeo and her husband Michael of Trumbull, and Jeffrey R. Williams and his wife Michele of Trumbull, eight cherished grandchildren, Hutch, Emma, Taegan, Michael and his wife Carolynn, Alexandra, Brett, Alexander, and Christopher, one adored great grandson Connor Joseph DeFeo and a brother James Allen of Tonawanda, NY. Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:00 AM directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Road, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull.
