Obituary of Nadia Frassinelli Ziko

Nadia Frassinelli Ziko, age 83, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Raymond Victor Ziko, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at her home with her family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on March 22, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Ferdinand H. and Josephine (Pansa) Frassinelli and was a longtime resident of Trumbull. Before her retirement, Mrs. Ziko was a piano instructor for many years and also tuned pianos. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who will be dearly missed by everyone. Survivors include her children, Christopher Ziko of Shelton, David Ziko of Stratford, Bonnie Jean Ziko of Shelton and Michael Ziko of Stratford, two grandchildren, Victoria Daniels and her husband Adam of Santa Monica, CA and Gregory Ziko of Seymour, a sister, Gioia Riccio of Bridgeport as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Fred Anthony Frassinelli, a sister, Gloria Foley, a brother-in-law, Dr. Frank J. Riccio and a sister-in-law, Sarah Wheeler Frassinelli. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial.
