I am so sorry to all of you for your loss. Even though you know this, I want to say that Mrs Skene was an amazing woman. Even as a young child I realized all things she successfully juggled while raising 6 six kids, the artwork, the work with Southbury Training School Students.. even bringing them home! The dogs and cats, the ballroom dancing lessons in her basement, hosting Miss Lori's dancing lessons for us in her basement, the best hand made halloween costumes around..and six of them might I add.. hosting sleepovers, feeding us.. inviting us to swim..taking 6 kids camping... She definitely shaped the kid of parent I aspired to be...
