Obituary of Robert C. Lesko

Robert C. Lesko, age 81, of Fairfield, beloved husband of Arlene Magi Lesko, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on January 6, 1934, he was a son of the late Ernest and Mary Jane Torreso Lesko. Mr. Lesko was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War Era. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Bridgeport and also attended the Wharton School of Business Strategies at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a Director at CT Blue Cross and Blue Shield and a Vice President at CHCP. He was a past member of the Fairfield Rotary Club. He loved to read and was an avid fan of the UCONN Huskies Men's and Women's Basketball programs. He looked forward to dinner and gatherings with his family and friends, but was most passionate about his three cherished grandchildren. In addition to his wife of 54 years, Arlene, survivors include a son, Robert C. Lesko and his wife Lori Ann of Easton and a daughter, Corinne A. Lesko of New Paltz, NY and three grandchildren, Robert Paul Lesko, EllieAnn Lesko and Cameryn Josie Lesko . He is also survived by a brother, Ernest Lesko of Fairfield, a sister, Marie Lesko Micholovich and her husband Kenneth of Huntington as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Joseph and three sisters, Madeline, Stella and Dolores. Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Pius Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
