I didn't get to know Pierce long enough. I've known him since he married Lorraine, Diane's mother, and that has been for a bunch of years, but time flies too fast. He was a good man. The type we aspire to become. He was smart and had a good wit. He was gentle and kind. He would always give me a hug and say "I love you". It was always nice. He was always considerate. He enjoyed a good cigar and a nice drink of good spirits with me. Not often, and never often enough. It was always with a smile. I got to see him every winter when he joined the ranks of all the other "snow birds" in Florida, and i always looked forward to it, and hated it when he left. Our families spent many new year's eves together, and he actually joined in when we did Karaoki. Trust me when I say, none of us were much good, but we had fun. I wish I had a video of that. So Pierce, I know you are looking down on us, and I will tell you.. I love you too. I miss you. I look forward to seeing you again. John

I pray for Pierce. What a wonderful man. A blessing to my family to have known him. May he rest in peace. Jesus and Mary I pray You will keep Pierce in your care. How greatful I am that his pain has been relieved. Thank You for allowing me to know and learn from such a good example of your children Amen.

To the whole Wall family I send my sincere condolences. Growing up he was known as "Wall", that's what my parents called him. When he met and married my aunt he became "Uncle". I am grateful for their union, it gave me a chance to really get to know the man my father always called his "best friend". I will always remember all the great times we shared in CT, MA, NH and FL. I will miss his kind words, special smile and sincere friendship. It was a privilege and a pleasure to have known him. I know he is resting in peace with God.

My deepest condolences to Lorraine and the Wall family. Pierce was the kindest man I have ever known. He took me in like I was his own son and always gave me wonderful advice when it was needed. He taught me about loving and caring. His whole demeanor was about doing the right thing. I believe I learned more from Pierce than anyone else I have ever met. He mentored us all in so many ways, too numerous to count. It was a subtle nudge, word, or look that let you know if you were on the right track or needed to be set straight. I am very proud and honored to have had him in my life. I love him, and he will always hold a special place in my heart for all the wonderful things he did for me. He will be deeply missed.
