Mrs. Riccio, Pam and Karen, I was so saddened to hear about Mr Riccio's passing. I know that Mr Riccio was well loved and respected. He had great character and a big heart. Bob and I extend our most heartfelt condolences to the Riccio family. So sorry to hear of our dear friend, Peter's passing. God needed another angel in heaven and chose one of the best people we ever knew to be with Him. Peter and Pauline both worked at Sikorsky Aircraft at the same time. Bob and I knew him and Esther when they had Pamela and shortly after Esther was pregnant with Karen. Esther and Peter were very kind people. I remember when we were awaiting our first child, Esther gave me baby clothes and loaned us their baby carriage. We went out together often when we lived in CT. I remember us taking the train together to New York City to see Broadway Plays. What fun! And we would visit them whenever we came to Ct. Peter was also our e-mail buddy and it was only a few weeks ago when we exchanged e-mail. Peter led a good life and he knew his priorities. Family first. He will be greatly missed. To my dearest Aunt and Uncle. My heart goes out to you in Sympathy and love. When someone loses a loved one who has meant so much for so many years,it's hard to know how to begin expressing words of comfort. I can only say that because Uncle Peter was my favorite Uncle that the Riccio family sorrow touches me deeply. Love you all your niece and cousin Judy Jones. I was very sorry to hear of Mr. Riccio's passing. He was always the nicest 'father' when he'd get home from work! Whenever I drive by the street, I want to turn down and say hi.... Uncle Pete has always held a special place in my heart. I have never forgotten that it was you and you family who took us in after the Garland Circle fire, and gave us a place to call home until ours was ready again. I'm sure dad will be happy to spend time with his old friend and maybe even strike up a gave of pinochle in heaven. We will miss you, and love you always..... Debbie
