Obituary of Ahmad Fotovat Ahmadi

Shelton Resident Ahmad Fotovat Ahmadi, age 85, of Shelton, passed away at Griffin Hospital on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Effat Barghi. Born in Tehran, Iran on March 25, 1927, he was the son of the late Abdoulali Fotovat Ahmadi and Robabeh Ettefagh. He was the owner of Fovama Oriental Rug of Westport and Scarsdale, NY for 20 years before his retirement in 1999. Prior to that he was a merchant in Iran. His greatest love was his family and he also found great enjoyment walking, hiking and working. In addition to his wife, Effat, survivors include his children, Pari Fotovat Ahmadi, Mahin Fotovat Ahmadi, Shahin Fotovat Ahmadi, all of Tehran, Iran, Mohamad Fotovat Ahmadi and his wife Mojgan Danesh of Wilton, Javad Fotovat Ahmadi of Shelton, Hossein Fotovat Ahmadi and his wife Sousan of Stamford, Maryam Fotovat Ahmadi and her husband Mosen Ahmaripour of Newtown and Reza Fotovat Ahmadi of Shelton, 17 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews in the Tabib, Kashi, and Parvizian Families. He was pre-deceased by four brothers and two sisters. Funeral Information Friends may call at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
