Obituary of Ernest R. Errichetti

Ernest R. Errichetti, born August 8, 1953 in Bridgeport, CT son of Daniel and Maria (Gallucci) died Monday, March 16, 2015 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Ernie attended Bridgeport schools until he joined the Kennedy Center where he enjoyed his many years working with the wonderful and supportive staff in their programs. He was most recently a consumer at Project Focus in Bridgeport. Ernie proudly participated in the Kennedy Center Bowling League and Special Olympics. He is survived by his sisters, Joanne Mazzeo (Robert) of Easton, Ann Errichetti (Mark Keroack) of Albany and Springfield and Rita Errichetti, with whom he resided and who gave him great and loving care. He is also survived by a nephew, six nieces, two great nieces, three great nephews, as well as a special aunt, Connie Gallucci who was always there for him. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Notre Dame of Easton Church, 655 Morehouse Rd., Easton. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull on Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ernest Errichetti Scholarship fund at Notre Dame High School to be given to a graduating senior specializing in the field of special education or to the Kennedy Center, 2440 Reservoir Ave., Trumbull, CT 06611.
