Obituary of Roldao de Carvalho

Roldao de Carvalho, age 90, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Miguela da Conceicao Geadas Carvalho, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2015 with his loving family by his side. Born in Carrazedo de Montenegro, Portugal on May 18, 1924 he was a son of the late Jose Joaquin and Maria Emilia Carvalho. He moved to Angola in his 20's where he spent almost 30 years before moving to the US. He was a retired employee of Cornwall & Patterson Co., Bridgeport, with over 30 years of service. He was a very quiet man who enjoyed the simple things in life. A dedicated husband, father and grandfather, Roldao will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his beloved wife Miguela, survivors include his loving son, Roldao J. Carvalho and his wife Minhee Choi of Fairfield, three cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Easton and Sayah. He also leaves to cherish his memory many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in the U.S., Portugal and Brazil. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will take place on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 429 Huntington Rd., Bridgeport. There will be no calling hours.
