Obituary of Vincent Testani
Vincent (Vincenzo) Testani, age 95, of Norwalk, beloved husband of the late Nancy (Nazzarena) Savo Testani, passed away at his home on Friday, February 6, 2015. Born in Frosinone, Italy on February 8, 1919, he was a son of the late Enrico and Pasqua Arduini Testani and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport and Fairfield before moving to Norwalk. A US Army Veteran, he proudly served his country during World War II. Vincent was a service technician for the Southern CT Gas Company before his retirement with many years of dedicated service.
Survivors include his daughters, Maria Bertone and her husband Ignatius of Monroe, Donna Bagoly and her husband Albert of Villages, FL and Tina Bundock and her husband Thomas of Trumbull, his six cherished grandchildren, Marissa Vallillo and her husband James, Nancy Couture, Mark Costantini, Anthony Bertone, Jacqueline Bundock and Emily Bundock, five great grandchildren, John, Amelia and Madeline Vallillo and Victoria and Luke Costantini. He is also survived by his brother, Larry (Loreto) Testani and his wife Pasqualina of Bridgeport and his longtime companion of over 25 years, June Marry. He was predeceased by his brothers, Santino, Giovanni and Beniamino Testani.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment with full military honors will follow in St. Michael's Chapel Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
